This is an event that will happen during school hours!

Today we’re celebrating the power of nutritious snacks to fuel our bodies and minds! 🧠💪 Students will be provided with healthy snack options that give them energy to learn, play, and grow.

Some tasty snacks may include:
✅ Fresh fruit like apples, bananas, or grapes
✅ Crunchy veggies like carrots, celery, or cucumbers
✅ Yogurt or cheese sticks
✅ Whole grain crackers or granola bars

Healthy snacks help us stay focused in class, give us energy for recess, and keep our brains ready for learning. 🌟 Today will be colorful, fun, and full of good choices!

Welcome Back Event- SJG Family Picnic
Join us on Friday, September 19th from 5:30-7:00p.m. on the SJG Back Field. Bring a blanket, chairs, lawn games, and snacks for a fun evening with other SJG families.

Two musicians face off like rock stars in a musical cage match. Request your favorite song, and watch as they attempt to outdo each other. One moment it’s “Bohemian Rhapsody,” the next it’s an epic rendition of “Let It Go” that turns into a surprise rap battle. Who knew Elsa had skills like that? Side dishes abound, drinks are flowing, and the tricky tray glows, a veritable treasure chest of amazing prizes! Who knew fundraising could be this much fun?

Ready to flex those brain muscles and settle once and for all who’s the smartest in the family? (Spoiler: It’s probably Mom.) Join us for Family Trivia Night, where laughter is guaranteed, sibling rivalries come out of retirement, and parents learn just how much their kids know about TikTok trends.

Expect questions on everything from classic movies and history to random facts about llamas, and a few curveballs only your kids might know the answers to. Bring your A-game, your appetite (snacks provided!), and maybe a buzzer-happy kid who thrives on competition.

Grab your favorite human (or bribe them with s’mores) and head on over to Camp SJG for the coziest reading campout this side of the APR!

Bring a book you actually plan to read, a sleeping bag that hasn’t been in your garage for 10 years, and a pop-up tent (optional but 10/10 for aesthetic). Prepare to get cozy on the floors of the all-purpose room—it’s like camping, but with WiFi and no actual bugs.

We’ll provide the s’mores (no need to burn them yourself), Bug Juice (don’t worry, it’s just a nostalgic drink, not an ingredient list), and, of course, all the reading fun you can handle!

Come on down for a magical evening in the SJG APR for our reading rocks assembly!

Join us on the slopes of Campgaw Mountain for a fun night of tubing!

January 23rd from 6-8 p.m.

The SJG HSA is hosting a snow tubing night at Campgaw Mountain (200 Campgaw Road, Mahwah).

Tickets are $25 per tuber (spectators are free). Parents, you can tube too! The HSA will be providing hot chocolate and there is a heated lodge/tent area with concessions for purchase. Registration closes January 15th.

Tubers must be 48" (no exceptions) and a waiver is required for all snow tubers.

**This is event is open to all Pequannock Families! Siblings and friends are welcome.

Come cheer on our kids as they go in to school on their last day before break!

Happy Holidays from the SJG HSA! We’ve hired the Waffles and Dreams truck to come and make delicious hot waffles for our entire student body and staff on the morning of December 19th. We hope you enjoy!

Don’t feel like cooking dinner? Neither do we! Dine out or take out at Panera on Rt. 23 in Wayne on Monday, December 9th from 4-8pm. Use code “Fund4u” on the app, at the kiosk in the store, or show them the flyer attached for SJG to receive 25% back!

A chance for our children to give back to those less fortunate. The HSA will be hosting an after school event of service. The students will be assembling sandwiches and meal bags for Eva’s Village in Paterson, NJ.

Additionally, students will be making cards for the Troops with United for the Troops.

We will be having a coat drive and a gently used sneaker drive. Please bring what you can. Please bring a can of food for the food pantry.
